After a very successful tournament held in India in December 2015, Dr.Fritz Wendland gave his strong recommendation to the ExCom for his appointment. All members of the ExCom voted in favor of the promotion as they believe that would strengthen the WKC in India and neighboring countries. Dr. Swakky Rethinam and his All India Karate-Do & Kobudo Promotion Foundation have been a loyal member and great supporter of the WKC throughout the years and their contribution has been very much appreciated..

Hanshi Ronnie Watt (kudan – 9th dan) OBE ORS : Aberdonian karate students will have great cause to celebrate this week with the news that their very own Ronnie Watt OBE ORS, chief instructor of the NKF (national karate federation) and director of Shotokan for the WKC (world karate confederation) has been awarded a 9th Dan black belt (Kudan). Believed to be the highest ever Dan grade to an Aberdonian or a Scotsman.
6th TAFISA World Games will take place from 6th to 12th October 2016 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The TAFISA Organization has offered to their members to participate in the games. Dr. Fritz Wendland and Roland Dietrich attended the 24th TAFISA World Congress that took place from 14th – 18th October 2015, Budapest, Hungary.
